Hi, I’m Tomas Enrique Delgado, LMT.
Before I started this journey I walked many paths and bore the weight of many lives, treated others where I could while not knowing the path I now tread. But for over 12 years I have worked in Chiropractic care, therapeutic settings, and private practice helping people reduce their pain, improve mobility, and regain function. Now its time to put some time at the helm, and help you get where you need to go. But how did I get here and why trust me? Perhaps after reading you’ll understand and decide for yourself.
This where we started officially. Everest College Class of 2014. A humbled journey that started with the clamoring of life circumstances removing the inconsistencies to reveal the factors of truth. That a fighter can become a healer. A man with an engineers mind can locate the path of recovery. A man that traveled in the shoes of the everyman in various fields and seeing every action of hard labor and desk works can understand where others can only rely on books, theories, and others perspectives. From here we confirmed known knowledge gained from life experience and childhood instruction. And from here I was told of the achievements and mistakes of predecessors. I was eager to begin working but even still there was much to learn about the application of my commanders and allies. Of this class I became the last of us.
After my first year of performing at-home care of Massage Therapy treatments and working for 2 Chiropractic Clinics, and one in particular that had a Massage Therapist that became a Chiropractor, at which point it became clear the knowledge of other medical practices were lacking in Chiropractors and Massage Therapists as a whole, and it became clear to me that I needed updated medical knowledge and so I entered again at Everest College class of 2015. It is unknown what has become of the others here but it soon it seemed I was a breed different to the rest. I learned further scientific methods and understanding of vital signs, and interventions of various fields of study of Allopathic or “Traditional Medicine” as it is termed today. However, I found a knowledge base that sought to distance itself from methods of the past that remain functional for the sake of being different and rely on medications, surgeries, other more invasive procedures. The system of learning collapsed at its end. Though I didn’t know it at the time and thought my externship was a curse in placing me in a Digestive Health Clinic.
I learned where I was weakest and had the least information. And simultaneously learned that regardless of the field of Medicine I entered I was a useful addition as many couldn’t understand the patients they treated on a foundational level. I became the translator of scientist and doctors to the everyman and visa versa, and the guide of doctors to understand the pathways they were missing, forgetting, and ignoring.
By year 8 of my career I worked for 5 Chiropractic Clinics, I worked a year with a spa, and corrected the mistakes of Physical Therapists and self-care of the everyman where they couldn’t seem to gather the necessary steps. I worked on likely that point 100s working in Seattle, Washington. I worked through the time of COVID-19 as well, where others of my kind had chosen to leave do to the landscape of the field or because the perception at a point was suggested we were not necessary. I was relieved to find that patients thought and proved otherwise, they still came asking for help where others had turned them away. Many thanks to Doctor Derek Cardenas, Doctor and Chiropractic for helping to maintain hope that Alternative Medicine can still help in a city gripped by a virus like COVIS-19. My philosophy and ethics of treatment only further hardened, and with some regret I felt it necessary to work closer to “Home” in Bremerton, Washington.
Year 12 and now: Working in Bremerton, Washington with my 6th Chiropractic Clinic with an Acupuncturist, and other Massage Therapist, and building associations is Physical Therapists. However, I saw there was a need in for patients to be seen where others like me could not see them while at the same time realizing that not working for myself had a disadvantage of growth in life. If you are using insurance contact Smith Chiropractic and Sports Rehab. If you don’t have insurance and can’t be seen due to lack openings contact me and let’s see what we can do together.
What became my solution?
Creating Delgalante Massage Clinic in Silverdale, WA. To build a place where those without insurance could get the same level of care during the week day without breaking the wallet to get it, and not think such care is reserved only as a luxury and as such meant for the wealthy and affluent. Healing, care, and treatment belongs to all, no matter what your path and walk of life is. Let’s talk, and see how we can get where you need.
